Notice:
Blisk version 23 is not compatible with macOS High Sierra and Mojave. Blisk 22 and older on macOS High Sierra and Mojave will no longer receive updates. Update your macOS to a newer version (10.15 or more) to continue receiving updates.

The previous release (v.22) was the last to support macOS High Sierra and Mojave. Blisk ended support of macOS High Sierra and Mojave. Blisk team has made every effort to maintain support for older versions of macOS for as long as possible but is no longer able to support them due to the outdated technologies they use. The other popular browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave, etc. have already ended their support for macOS High Sierra and Mojave in 2023.

macOS Catalina and older:

How users on macOS Catalina and older are affected:

Blisk supports macOS Catalina and later. The users can install updates and will not have any issues with Blisk. The update process depends on the version of the installed Blisk application (version 22 and later or version 21 and earlier).

Installing updates on macOS Catalina and older:

  • Users with Blisk v.22 and older will receive the update automatically. You will need to install the update with the same steps as usual.
  • Users with Blisk v.21 and earlier will not receive the update automatically. Navigate to Blisk update for macOS and install the update manually based on the instructions.

macOS High Sierra and Mojave:

How users on macOS High Sierra and Mojave are affected:

Blisk stopped support and updates for macOS High Sierra and Mojave. The users can install version 22 and continue using it without issues but will not receive updates until they upgrade their macOS to version 10.5 or later.

Installing updates on macOS High Sierra and Mojave:

  • Users with Blisk v.22 and older will not receive updates until they upgrade macOS to version 10.5 or later. After upgrading macOS version, Blisk will continue receiving automatic updates.
  • Users with Blisk v.21 and earlier can update Blisk to v.22 and will not receive updates until they upgrade macOS to v.10.5 or later.
